ABOUT / OPERATOR PROFILE

I understand systems from the inside out.

Eight-plus years of building backend systems now inform a deliberate move into cybersecurity—where architecture knowledge becomes an advantage in detection, response, and resilience.

THE THROUGH-LINE

Curiosity, precision, responsibility.

I’m Hamza El Marjani, a senior software engineer specializing in backend systems. My work has lived in the parts of software that coordinate services, move concurrent workloads, and keep complex systems understandable.

Cybersecurity is a natural extension of that work. To detect a meaningful anomaly, you need to understand expected behavior. To investigate an incident, you need to follow a system across boundaries. To strengthen a defense, you need to know how the underlying architecture can bend—or break.

Today, I’m focused on developing those capabilities through SOC, threat detection, and incident-response practice. I share what I learn to make cybersecurity more approachable and to encourage ethical hacking as a force for good.
